From a young age, I sought out educational opportunities wherever I could. This included helping in the church nursery in elementary school, teaching Sunday school classes in middle and high school, and eventually going into education. With about 4 full years under my belt teaching in a professional setting, I’m still striving to learn new things every day and I believe this position will allow me to combine my love of learning as well as teaching.
I am still learning more every day, but I have previous experience teaching pre-school classes music and theatre and am currently covering a leave of absence position at St. Michael with their youngest pre-school class.
I enjoy singing, dancing, sewing, spending time with my cats, performing, and watching movies with my friends.

As a young Christian woman, I feel a calling to be a light in the life of young people. Whether students from my school, babysitting clients, or even the possibility of being a light for the students at Destiny, I feel it’s so important to let every child know that they are loved not only by God, but by myself as well.
Aside from babysitting throughout my teenage years, I’ve volunteered in church nurseries, Sunday school classes, and with the civic theatre here in town. I also have a background in teaching pre-school classes developmental skills through music and theatre, now wrapping up a long-term sub position as a pre-school teacher.
