Anytime monday-friday. I would prefer to work the later morning till closing shift.
Besides my direct teaching experience i have work with young children my entire life. I raised two children and was a stay-at-home dad with my daughter for the first 3 years of her life. that experience led to me getting my teaching certificate and teaching preschool at the Garden school. Growing up i was part of a huge extended family and was constantly babysitting and caring for my two younger brothers and an army of cousins. I have a gift working with kids of all ages but specially 3–5-year olds. I think kids respond to me so well because my interest and love of them is genuine. They are endlessly fascinating and bring me so much joy. Due to this teacher Aaron, uncle Aaron, cousin Aaron whatever role I'm in the kids adore me, its mutual trust, respect and admiration.
I bring a deep, holistic understanding of early childhood education grounded in both professional practice and personal experience. Drawing from the Reggio Emilia philosophy and nature-based learning, I believe children are inherently capable, curious, and full of potential. In the classroom, I create environments that invite exploration, support social-emotional growth, and reflect children's voices and interests. As a former lead teacher and a stay-at-home dad to my own daughter, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful play, nature, and responsive caregiving are in supporting early development. I’ve also provided consistent care to children in my extended family, further enriching my perspective on child-led learning, family collaboration, and the importance of nurturing environments that honor each child’s individuality and pace of growth.
I have a lifelong love of reading and nature that I will try to foster in the classroom. In my free time I am usually, reading, hiking, biking or getting out and exercising in some fashion. I also enjoy art and music. If I am going out with friends, its usually to an art gallery or concert.

B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Anderson University. I also have 1 semester of credits in early childhood education and child development.
At Destiny Christian Academy, I aim to contribute a warm, nurturing presence and a deep commitment to supporting each child’s growth and development. I bring experience in creating engaging, child-centered environments where curiosity is encouraged, learning is hands-on, and each child feels seen and supported. Through thoughtful planning, responsive caregiving, and strong collaboration with families and staff, I hope to help build a community where young learners feel safe, confident, and inspired to reach their full potential.
The skills i learned in sales and finance are a big asset to me as an educator it helps me to foster relationships with parents and staff as much as the children in my care.
